I bought MS Office XP 1997 with my first XP-based PC, and repeated the acquisition with my second. So here we have been, 10 approximately years later on. I love Office XP, thus it seemed logical to upgrade to 2007. My advice to anyone considering repeating this is: Dont!! I have a very dozen minor niggles with Office XP. Not a single one is fixed in 2007. But its much worse than that. Because from the tragic obsession within Microsoft of preventing drop-down menus, all you will which were so straightforward to access under Office XP are becoming obscure - sometimes so obscure that I not try to utilize them.

Outlook 2016 crashes frequently, causing that you lose the email you might be writing for the time. There are many reports of this on the net and no reaction to date from Microsoft. Shame on Microsoft for selling one last release which still must be in beta testing.
EDIT: Solution were to upgrade the OS from Win7 to Win10. Compatibility problems exist with Windows 7.
EDIT2: Actually Outlook continued to crash under Win10. I wound up using a previous Outlook version. You cant uninstall just one single program on this suite, so its all or nothing. I would suggest purchasing cheaper Office 2016 version that doesn't contain Outlook.

Paid 190 first license to download, and am not able to Download. Tried 3 different computers and 4 different browsers. The Microsoft website gives precisely the same message on each one of computers: We re sorry for that wait. The page takes longer to load than expected. This is after fifteen minutes of creating a Microsoft account, their verification email, and them collecting my email address and private information. They ask for the cell phone number, name and email - and send verification emails and sms - AFTER you could have paid. The product description should claim that collecting private information is necessary to download. After a crazy Microsoft logon and verification process, you are free to the Download screen along with an icon just keeps spinning, and you also read the message: We re sorry with the wait. The page takes longer to load than expected.
Someone at Microsoft need to try to buy their software, and witness the cumbersome process. Just amazing!

Very disappointed by Outlook 2016. It turns out Outlook 2016 stop supporting iCloud CalDEV means no contacts and calendar syncing with iPhone. Now try to return back to 2013 also it turns out MS is forcing to upgrade to 2016. I started to adore MS after the newest CEO, but I think nothing has evolved.

Purchased Microsoft Office Home Business 2016 Windows 10 through Dell on the new computer. Ive had just problems ever since then Ive only had my desktop for just a week. First off my system kept crashing. After hours about the phone with Dell support 2 support techs they decided that I required to reinstall your entire software package again. Thankfully they did that to me while I was for the phone. After re-install - system crashed again - new support tech at Dell discovered that since I was using my old monitor that it a webcam inbuilt that it turned out crashing the device. He installed the software to the webcam. At that time I also addressed with him my concerns within the font and the way strange Outlook 2016 looked. I was also failing to get enough my e-mails in. I must close out Outlook every time to obtain new e-mails in. Crazy. He finally figured I had to wait until Microsoft pushed out their Windows updates and this would hopefully take care in the problem. So now on my 6th hour of calls over a few days. I called Microsoft directly. They ran a lot of tests agreed via remote access that my Outlook font views looked very strange nonetheless they couldnt do anything about this. She asserted she agreed with Dell I would have to wait to the Windows updates hopefully that might fix the problems. The Excel, PowerPoint Word work since they should so far as I can tell via my limited usage. Im finding that Windows 10 is not that will work with a lot of websites and I often need to leave Internet Explorer and enter into Chrome do access information or print documents from your internet when they wont print from IE. Very frustrating and also a huge waste of time trying to dial around my desktop. Its not like Im trying to try and do anything crazy here. Its for your kitchen at home and some basic business tasks thus it really shouldnt be this hard take up a whole lot time. Wish I could have stayed with Windows 7 Office 2010.

First of most, I wish I had not upgrading to this particular new version.
1. Search in Outlook is useless. I employed to be in a position to search with just a portion in the name. Now I need the precise full listing name. Its extremely difficult to search for my contacts now.
2. REALLY BAD BUG! Excel won't set as my default database put in Windows 7. When I open Excel, it says Excel isn't my default program for spreadsheets and get if I need to set it for the default. When I say yes, it opens a window asking which extension. None every show, thus it really is impossible to set becoming the default. Also, when I go on the control panel and attempt to create file associations, Excel 2016 won't even appear Word and Outlook 2016 do shop up so this can be clearly a bug. Ive used the repair option double now and yes it is useless.
3. Did repair for third time the file types at the moment are working BUT now it says I should register this software again plus it keeps telling me to sign up despite entering the fond of me upon purchase! None on the programs in Microsoft Office Home and Business 2016 will work now suddenly saying I will not be able to utilize it unless I register and it also iswas already registered. MICROSOFT YOU ARE REALLY OFF YOUR MARK WITH THIS UPGRADE! VERY BUGGY!
