First you need hold of an MGI disc or maybe a download. I are already trying to get MGI Photosuite III SE to fit on Vista for months with no success and then when I thought Id finally sorted it I could not launch this program due to some script error. You do not need Virtual PC, Virtual XP or any add-ons. Simply find and right click on the the MGI setup file, look at the run in compatibility mode as Windows XP SP2 and install. After install, send a software program launch shortcut for a desktop, right click, check out properties and examine the Windows XP compatibility mode just as before. Finally, when you still develop the compatibility screen open put in a tick check to Run As Administrator. Hey presto my beloved MGI Photosuite is back! MGI is wonderful for being user-friendly and simple, and although I know other users insist you will find better programs, Ive tried loads and I still think its a victor.
MGI Photosuite also works together HP printers in Vista, when you have had problems running them both together.
