What about access speed within MMPro ver 8 when you'll find attached files? I stopped attaching PDFs to boxes inside the map after attaching only 10 of them as it slowed everything way down. I finally stripped all PDF attachments. The only other attachments I had were some smaller MS WORD files; no issue there. The version 7 tool helps with mapping although not for embedding reference materials.
