This can be a well written book. It is easy to read plus it covers the fundamentals of all of the Office applications. I bought the Kindle edition and although, similar to technical books, it is just not easy to use to be a software manual ON the Kindle, it functions well for the Kindle cloud reader application if I open it on my small second monitor.
For users who may have kept track of regular Microsoft application and OS updates, there might not be much to know about Office 2013. But I switched to Linux and Open-/Libre- Office in the past and had was able to function as the only Linux user within my organization. Recently however Ive taken on more leadership responsibilities and possess a greater ought to collaborate around the production of documents and presentations inside Windows environment. This means a wholesale jump backward in to the world of Windows and MS Office.
I wont say I like Office, or Windows, but as I must use both, this book does a pleasant job of explaining what Office can perform and how to accomplish it efficiently.
