The only workaround I have found with this is to download the trial, start cellular phone process hence the files are unpacked to your temporary location, then point the service pack to this location. Once the SP is installed, cancel the installation on the Expression Web Trial. Yes, it truly is a pain BUT it was of having it would benefit me.

I have installed all versions of Expression Web on computers with Win XP, Win Vista, and Win 7 and possess very seldom had this course crash. If and when it can, I run Steve Easton s FP Cleaner which I cannot recommend highly enough plus it fixes any problems. Make sure you download the right version to your EW program.
