If you like turn based strategy games this is definitely an excellent game. Great survey of medieval history, cultures, commerce, religion, diplomacy, war and nation building. Ive owned disc based versions with this game and also got tired of repairing the scratches. When I use a weekend to kill or require a good strategy fix I love to pull this up and continue to keep Spain from getting wiped off the map with the Moors and France. It, much like the Civ series, can steal time within you though so beware. I set a kitchen timer to hold me from dying of starvation or forgetting to get to sleep. The game is wonderful and Id have 5 stars whether it had a timer like some out there, also the in battle mode while fun remains to be a bit cumbersome from time to time - producing me auto-playing the battles about 80% of some time. Definitely worth the 10 download - never had a challenge with install on XP, Vista or Win 7.

If you enjoyed Sid Meirs Civilization, you might be going to love farmville. It still adds to the sport but not up to it could. Still, not much of a big deal in my opinion. The game is really deep that I dont have time for you to think about it really.
The only other drawback is always that I lack more time for it to spend playing it. This game is phenomenal.

hmm? i dont see that which you guys are dealing with but this could just be me. i have a similar graphics card as yours bust still mine works i do not know why yours doesent. maybe look at the firewall or another antivirus especially avast that blocks the experience from running for those who have it.
The scenery was interesting, every one of the details, vegetation, the movements - astoundingly insane. Though the requirements plus the specs it asks for the overall game were big, nonetheless its worth it for the reason that quality in the interface was great. But I think, a simple know-how on politics stomach in handy.

Liked the ability to the computer to settle battles.
Took me about 20 min to figure the experience out. Way too easy, even for the most difficult settings.
Easy to overwhelm computer opponents and while the experience will last all night the outcome is not in doubt, simply going thru the motions of crushing additional countries.

The demo just freezes when I click to get in one from the maps. I guess I employ a graphics card problem, but this can be a new laptop, it needs to be fine. If anybody had similar problems please post. Just in case, this would be the type of graphics card I have from the laptop:

the mobile intel 945 chipset hasn't got pixel shader support. i assumed that out when i attemptedto play company of heroes using a laptop with all the same chipset. there are certainly few chipsets which could support pixel shaders.
