Despite the cruel reviews that Ive seen, I decided to provide this a try. I am a proud Windows 7 user. By the way here is the platinum edition in the 25th anniversary edition. There was no cd key or code within this version. It just installs and also you run it. And its also mac compatible. I do not have a mac so I cant say if itll operated with that.

This would be the second version of Mavis Beacon that individuals have purchased and also the same software bug exists. As you set goals yourself, eventually right around when you are typing in close proximity to 50 WPM, the program flips all of your current stats into negitive numbers. There is no way to climb out with the hole. Youll can't predict where youre at from this level on because doing so starts to count up from your negitive number and you also start going backwards towards zero. Very frustrating for the kids who count on acurate numbers for his or her progress reports in college. This bug has been around in their software for more than 5 years now high does not are any must fix it. Ive reported the challenge in detail and all sorts of that Im ever told would be to wait for your newer version to be removed. They will not refund your cash, they merely sucker you into buying another version as well as the problem still exists. Weve duplicated this issue on three different computers around my house. Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. All Operating Systems were fully patched up. Its not our computers. This company features a bug within their software that they can not correct. I would inform you not to buy this system!
