yes it can play blu rays but but plays in poor image quality.
when playing a blu ray when you use windows 7 with full retail version you cant adjust the settings in terms of typ of monitor you might have or the color or it plays blu rays but plays them very poorly.i'd not recommend miracle traffic bot to nobody it flat out is crap

If you prefer hideously expensive splash screens, then the program is for you. If you are another 99.9% from the PC userbase that truly expect an application to launch when you buy it, dont waste your dollars.
Very clean interface that doesnt overwhelm you with way too many possibilities. It doesnt play the role of the all everything media player that others like PowerDVD appear to do. It just works.

Its the blu ray spec that really needs video for being downscaled for output to anything aside from HDMI. All software and payers is going to do the same.

Mike, this really is just videos player NOT an editor. To give this star for something that is certainly not said ANYWHERE it's supposed to accomplish what you are wanting it to complete is more an expression of your failure, not WinDVDs failure, this short between the chair plus the keyboard as it were.
Trialware plays Blu-Ray, Retail doesn t. Beware!!!
Trialware can play Blu-Ray on the standard Vga connection monitor without problem. The retail version doesnt and pops up with an error stating it detected Analog Output. Adding the SlySoft AnyDvd Hd plugin will trick it into playing blu-ray but this costs 163;55 and defeats the reason. Corel support was absolutely terrible using the usual answers, keep track of patches drivers, maybe you have checked the knowledgebase?, etc. Then no response after the week of badgering with an answer. In the end I brought forward my decision to buy a new monitor with DVI output also it worked without delay. But this really is still a con, trialware should reflect a timed version with the final product, not an issue that cons you into buying its bigger sibling.
Once working the merchandise does the project although Im sure you can find better applications around. They just cost much more.

Both version WinDVD Pro 10 and 11 involve some kind of issue and crash immediately on Splash Screen prior to the program even starts. Have contacted customer satisfaction. Well see whether they can offer a few recommendations but I am doubtful simply because havent fixed the problem from versions 10 to 11. I cant be the ONLY one experiencing this.
I want my cash back to buy an application that works. Im slapping myself for getting two different versions of this method.
