Ive read several recent reviews that contain stated that Verizon don't supports the Migo phone. This is incorrect, so I wished to write an overview giving directions regarding how to activate the device with Verizon.
We just finished activating ours, and it is often a pain. It cannot be achieved at a store, it need to be done within the phone. This is because spending budget can only activate phones within the new EVO network, whereas in the event you call in, they are able to activate about the older digital network.
When you call, you tell them there is a Migo and also you want to activate it. We had existing service and were transferring a line, but I dont think it matters. After you dial 228, you are going to hear a note that asks you if you'd like to activate your phone. To say yes, you press 1. Then your phone is activated.
