I used Inspiration for quite some time and find it invaluable. I have dyslexia and look for it difficult to obtain my thoughts and ideas together within a cohesive way. I got version 8 together with a package i want to to do an Open Uni course because i have ADHD and Dyslexia. its perfect for putting your notions together and organising them. the program will even put things in to a word doc to suit your needs if required. this new edition has some the latest features that are great just like the presentation slides bit. the help is usually a bit tricky for starters but following your first time its a doddle make use of. the map scene is easy to make use of as it is all totally there to suit your needs in one in the menu bars bottom and top. the dictionary with spell checker works on everything including the mind maps!!! If you have problems organising your thinking then this program you. unsure about the sellers once i went with iansyst who provided the version 8 orginally.

Ive been using Inspiration the past 3 and a half several I wouldnt do without it. Bought this copy when I upgraded completely to another machine. Its this sort of useful tool for harnessing tips on anything you are able to think of. Pop them down because they come to you inside diagram layout and then you are able to order them from the linear layout. And, on top of that, its not a costly piece of kit.

I am a major fan of outlining and mind mapping applications. I have been using Inspiration because it was first introduced.

Love Inspiration. I really helps capture creative thought, but in the format that organizes the knowledge within a way that gets one to use it. Only missing 2 things: 1 mobile app iTunes Android, and a pair of multiple machine use per license. Microsoft lets you have 3, Apple lets you have 5 computers for while Inspiration only lets you have 1 computer per license. At 70 a pop, thats so 1990s.
If their management team gets together with the times, run and get this stuff!!

Inspiration is usually a concept mapping/outliner tool that's been around for a short time 20 years Ive been told and apparently incorporates a wide audience particularly among writers. Inspiration may focus on the educational market but this edition seems aimed towards the general market given that they offer another version, Kidspiration. I have owned versions 7 and 8. This latest version 9, a fresh release that's now a Universal application for Mac, has some minuses and pluses. My comments below apply for the Mac version that has been tested on new Intel Macbook Pro.
The right off the bat one notices, if one can be a previous Inspiration owner, would be that the user interface UI could be the same because the last two versions un-Mac like. This is usually a double-edge sword. Some may suffer at home which has a familiar look but new owners, especially ones informed about most other Mac applications could be unhappy and confused. A pet peeve of mine that's continued here is using the setting of default fonts: it doesn't stick.
There are performance difficulties with version 9 which make it slower than v8 was. It is slower changing from outline to map views. Accessing the menu items can be slower. For instance, it will take 10 seconds to the font menu to look and every time the Help menu is selected the spinning ball appears. I see none on this on the PPC v8.
I had hoped which the developers would've improved the map scaling. There certainly are a small volume of steps of zoom together with the maximum of 200%. I dont find these satisfactory plus it should be replaced by the slide as well as the maximum zoom really should be increased considerably.
The maps themselves do not seem changed. The symbols might have shadows but the hyperlinks can not. Dont expect to determine nice liquid 3D symbols that you might find in other mind-mappers but only flat 2D shapes. Read more

Inspiration became a product I used many years ago during my work in public schools. I found that it is so helpful that I bought my own, personal copy for individual use in organizing my projects, clarifying my thoughts and visualizing the project or problem more like a process via a major picture, literally. The product then disappeared from my radar. Just recently, I discovered that this company had focused almost exclusively on marketing to schools. I have the most recent version, adore it, and revel in using it. Please dont consider miracle traffic bot to be for the children. Although it might be a great deal of fun, its serious software.

This is a great tool to formulate papers or presentations, whether alone or collaboratively. It effortlessly moves between graphic, outline, and document view of your hard work. It also exports flawlessly into MS Word. But that isnt necessary, because you are able to present or print out of this application natively.

Mind mapping is brilliant. You dont even must read the instructions for getting started on creating simple mindmaps and converting them into outlines. I used it to map out my company processes I have a very home-based photography studio plus it was so incredibly helpful and instructive, I realized major gaps within my thinking and reorganized a couple of processes being stand-alone rather than subsets of other processes,
I do wish you can load this on in excess of one computer - - I had to get one for your kids to use for their computer for homework and reports, and something on my computer for work brainstorming. I think one copy was approximately 40, along with the second copy purchased a couple of months later was 30
Also, my oldest child has autism which is highly visual and also this program makes writing MUCH less of the hated chore. But anyone in college would gain from it there may be another version, KidSpiration, meant for elementary kids
