Usually I dont get excited for remakes. This one, in reality, I ordered simply so I could run the main Halo over a 360 without emulation. I honestly wasnt expecting a whole lot-but I sure started using it!
The campaign is, to put it simply, awesome. It looks SO much better than an original, but on the same time it plays just the identical. This isnt a totally half-baked slap result-oriented paint onto it project-it feels as being a brand new game. In addition for the makeover, Halo CE now includes skulls, which I like-particularly the infinite ammo skull for those instances when you just want to shoot stuff without worrying about conserving ammunition.
Multiplayer was obviously a little bit of the disappointment personally, mostly for just two reasons: one of the best multiplayer maps didnt result in the cut, and I was hoping for the main Halo multiplayer experience as an alternative to just Reach multiplayer on remastered CE maps. But this isn't enough to dampen the feeling. As I said, the multiplayer is using the Reach engine you may download the Anniversary maps to try out them within Reach, being a matter of fact, for those times you get mafia wars, dont understand just for your multiplayer-stick with Reach. I liked that there werent a great deal of secret areas to locate and puzzles to fix. There were a number of tricky spots where you had to work something out, even so the solutions were usually obvious extending its love to me, and Im really bad at puzzles. And the tricky spots fit into the overall game-I never felt like I was being asked to eliminate an arbitrary puzzle just because the overall game designer liked puzzles.
