I had to wait patiently 4 hours for that download url to appear so I could start the procedure. Installation became a nightmare- not the responsibility of Amazon but I so wish I had paid countless taken it to your shop for another person to download. It took 12 hours along with a huge load of hassle to finally have it installed, ready to go. Unless you know your path round a pc, dont even bother wanting to do it yourself!

Why cant Microsoft offer this over a CD-ROM? I bought this which has a new PC, and have absolutely been struggling to download it. I scratched off part on the 25-digit product code about the cheap little card that I paid nearly Р±С‘100 for. I am not a moron; I do know using a coin to scratch off some rubbery plastic. It wouldnt permit me to do it properly.
If thats how cheap they are on the simple end, what hope is there to get a once great and essential product? Shame for you, Microsoft. Cheapskates.

It downloaded and installed with no problems but I just can't get it to operate. Every time I tried to work with it my computer crashed.

When I attemptedto download it the Microsoft website blocked the download and Ive been struggle to use the product or service.
The Microsoft website stated the purchased software was from region. I reside within the UAE, I bought it on the Amazon website. There was NOTHING to indicate for the time of purchase that there were any constraints regarding geographical use in the product.
I really feel disappointed and conned.! I can't find however to cancel the acquisition.

This isn't yet the full product review as I haven't been able to download the application! I made buying out of grudging necessity for work whilst over a business trip and located that Microsoft would not permit me to download the software program since they restrict downloads by region; I purchased a UK download which will not be accessible from external whatever region Microsoft have defined. Whatever that region is, I am not currently inside it! A call on their customer support confirmed it was the issue. So now I have just paid for just a product that I cannot even download until I return home. Why did I buy the download version? Because I need it today. Time for plan B.

In hindsight I may not upgrade. This version of Office offers little over its predecessor plus the GUI is less attractive. In fact the main program is less intuitive make use of and I would repeat the upgrade is usually a retrograde step.

I needed Office as I found some charts manufactured in Excel 2003 are not displaying properly or whatsoever in LibreOffice Calc, that's otherwise excellent for free. Excel does work a good deal more smoothly than Calc it needs to be said. But my word will it all try taking a little getting used to - as I hadn't used any in the versions of Office after 2003 therefore the ribbon toolbars were a fresh thing if you ask me. The colours, with the interface are, well, dull! Im using Outlook and Excel mostly and Im becoming familiar with it.
Edit 12 July 2015: Word is OK, Excel less so, but Outlook nowhere close to as reliable or easy to utilize as Outlook 2003. Outlook crashes and freezes yr after installing. All in every it can be a disappointment compared on the excellent Office 2003 Pro I had.

Ive now spent for hours on end attempting to have Outlook 2013 to come up with all of messages within my inbox - exactly like it does in Outlook 2010 - with no success. To be clear, I have Outlook 2010 installed and setup in my old laptop, and Outlook 2013 in this little new laptop - configured on the same email account. In Outlook 2010 I can scroll down or search/filter to the email that Ive received about this account unless Ive deleted it - obviously!. In Outlook 2013 I can only start to see the last 2 weeks or possibly even longer emails - and Ive ensured I have no filters applied etc. etc. This is ridiculous - Im not a software engineer but Ive built and maintained my personal PCs/network this last many years, so I dont believe that Im an IT dummy - I want my cash back!!!
