There isn't any map available with the MioMap that running with your device. No 2012 SA map update for MioMap. With authorisation from Mio home office, we're going to need the device for being sent towards the Pretoria they are going to organise collection and delivery which supply GPS map since 2002 once off upgrade and add another software that's official bundle for Mio C310 and C510, so you're able to use the most recent map data together with your Mio GPS, and receive monthly map updates for two years. It is 70% less expensive than any other brands in South Africa during the entire same period a couple of years. I recently purchased this GPS for my partner who has been very hesitant to embrace the technology. Dear Sir/Madame, In July 2007 I bought in Romania a GPS Mio C720 with all of maps of Europe, East Europe I wish to update these inform me how can I do this without cost.
I purchased a mio 320 with good reviews in one of my friends. Most gps companies do automatic updates via the internet by simply hooking their gps on their computer. This is horrible that they can do not have maps for my 320. The map can be so outdated that I can t really trust where it s taking me anymore.
This company is horrible and I will NEVER buy another MIO product again!
Hi, I employ a Mio 510E and have already been looking to Mio for a guide update. Three emails produced no reply from their store. I telephoned in September 2009 and was promptly informed how they have no such product number! I persisted plus the reply was that I should purchase a different device! I will, nevertheless it definatly will not certainly be a Mio or Navman. What disgustingly poor product support.
I may also never invest in a Mio product again unless they enable me to buy a atlas upgrade for my C220. If they tend not to offer map upgrades, the worth for money of the product is inadequate. ANd I bought this assuming maps might be kept informed, or I would do not have bought it whatsoever.

I have a very MIO C720 with outdated software 2007. I ve been looking the net for the days for an update and located nothing. Just phoned Tudor that have taken over mio in South Africa as well as the guy tells me maybe you going to wish to shoot me, the update is simply coming out end of the following month November 2009 plus it will cost u R1100.00!!! Told him he'll stuff his damn MIO i ll rather take those funds and invest in a GARMIN and have FREE UPDATES FOR LIFE! MIO SUCKS!!! I am likely to throw this section of crap in the dustbin. I am from South Africa, and obtained a MIO C520 at the outset of 2008 with November 2007 software and maps. Since then we have seen no updates. Can you let's suppose an overseas tourist that has a Mio visits South Africa in 2010 for that football world cup. It is as well as owning a brick.
Got a Mio C520 when i was younger for B-day. Maps were couple of years old when I first got it. Now they can be over 4 years old, whilst still being waiting for a atlas update. Can t remember information about customer service apart from I remember trying challenging to get info outta them, without the need of results. MIO SUCKS. millions of budget on marketing, 10, 000 dollars on support. Companies like this require outta business. Check their support page with the map update, LOL, supposedly updated the page a month ago, saying they may be still having technical issues, been because of this for over 24 months now. I m very disappointed within the purchase from the mio c510. I ve discouraged 100s of prospects to invest with GARMIN, and may continue to do so. The Garmin 200 is 100% superior to the mio I own.

Yeah, there isn't any point of buying Mio again and have lost three months after you purchased because It won t find the newest addresses added for the map. Did you discover how many new buildings and roads are in existence every day? How does Mio expect individuals to not go missing if they don t provide new maps? Not even for selecting!

Wow I didn t understand the extent of how crappy MIO is. They are junk. It had sights for stores which were in my area for several years but laughed and said to travel 100 miles instead. Also laughed and said to turn into a corn field and from an on ramp to go to where I needed to become on.
You get that which you pay for. MIO outsources its updates with providers, therefore they're going to always have poor support for older models if you think one year is old?!
