I bought this so Id be able to look at Excel documents that I receive in email, also as for Word. While Im reasonably pleased with all the Word functionality, potential customers should know how the spreadsheet program is NOT Excel and even Excel lite, and will not be fully compatible documents. I find this very irritating.

I had precisely the same problem with Works Suite 2002 that I had with 2006. The product key that came using the discs won't install Microsoft Word; the content invalid product key emerged. After a computer problem, I reformatted the drive and did a reinstall in the original Works 2002 discs. The invalid key message turned up when I aimed to install Word 2002. After arguing with Microsoft people for three weeks I bought the newest Works Suite 2006. After running each of the discs into a clean hard disk, everything worked except, again, the invalid key message came out and wouldnt activate Word. Highly irritating. I got it all signs to Microsoft Works, Programs, clicked Word Document, got an activate product but got Word installed and running. This is apparently a dumb glitch from the software.

I got this suite because doing so includes Word 2002, that is my personal favorite version of their software and is particularly still on the whole use. Ive tried the freeware and shareware available and I like them, but to stop copyright infringement those suites have small but noticeable formatting differences that do not work in my opinion. To create documents using the formatting I want its gotta be Word. On the product or service spec. page at Amazon it said hello works with Windows Vista but nothing about Windows 7. I have Windows 7 with 64 bit and it also works great. It is so all to easy to use and for that reason many other features with all the templates and programs which are easy also.

Ive always liked the programs around on Microsoft Works. Word of advice: If youve just obtained a computer as well as the time has run out around the sample Microsoft Works, be sure to delete the sample version before seeking to download a new one. I incorrectly assumed that after I downloaded the purchased version, it could automatically overwrite the sample version. There are no instructions around my purchased version telling me to delete the previous version, certainly nothing happened when I inserted the revolutionary program disc into my laptop. Im a be home more mom would you the paperwork and pays the bank notes and I find this for home use. I also own Office 03 as well as its wonderful but 9 times from 10 Im opening works instead. I bought a whole new computer with Windows 7. I would be a little upset when I discovered it didnt have Microsoft Works inside it. I gave Microsoft Office an attempt and didnt as if it. I searched Amazon and discovered Microsoft Works 9.0 and purchased it. Installed it, transfered my history files from my old computer and I am in business again. MS Works is fantastic for home use and also a small company. I think MS Office is a lot more for business plus more complicated to utilize. Great price on MS Works also.

I have always used MsWorks but having Vista I needed to purchase this software and it also was very easy to install and very easy to use. You wont be disappointed if you would just like the simple basic MSWorks!
