Yes XP just isn't perfect but hardly slow compared towards the bloated and rushed VISTA. If you perform clean install with XP along with your computer continues to be slow its your hardware or you might have the wrong drivers installed. This will not be XPs fault.
The second step is to buy a brand new computer with 7. You can get a brand new one for a couple of hundred in case you need a great computer for tech then it is possible to build your own for a couple of hundred likewise. Lags sometimes ANNOYING, may be slow 35% with the time. When multiple tabs windows are running simultaneously, every one of the programs immediately become unresponsive. When programs become unresponsive, pain inside the neck to seal the program down.
Overall, I have had this computer ALL MY LIFE, and yes it still works like completely new. This computer is undoubtedly an old but trusted friend, of course, if you want to pick out a different program, go with this particular. You wont regret it!:
