I enjoy it. I used to have Windows 7 PRO, and that would be a solid OS. I upgraded to Windows 8 PRO only for 14.99. Windows 8 was always fiascos, as well as I got it prior to a major updates, that it was even worse. Until around early 2014, I had difficulty with windows 8. But since then, this indicates the updates really made it stable and fewer of a pain make use of. Up towards the point where I upgraded my PC to windows 10 from 8, Ive not once every considered of returning to windows 7. Windows 8 was faster, and also the new features were good. I love how I can sync my desktop, documents, and photos between my laptop and desktop without the work needed. Now when I upgraded to Windows 10, where did all the syncing go??? Its now forcing me to go to your online version of OneDrive because apparently Windows 10 removes the ghost file ability, and you have to download your entire onedrive files so as to view them. That ruined the entire OneDrive experience to me. Now to Cortana. Nothing to say here, its really what existed before Siri. That voice control that will only perform couple commands, except this place will look up almost anything you say to it, to bing, returning useless results. I will not recommend Cortana by any means. Lastly, Ive never had ANY crashing or ANY bluescreens or ANY freezing on Windows 7, or 8. Now that I have Windows 10, my computer freezes often, sometimes daily! Ive gotten around 3 to 4 bluescreens since I installed it, plus it always crashes and locks me from my account. I do not use a virus, and not have. I even downloaded malware byte, didnt detect anything, nor did Avast or Windows Defender.
I tend not to recommend Windows 10 to anyone until they fix the difficulties, and make the revolutionary additions useful.

I am very upset because I specifically ordered the USB version so I would not have to generate my own boot up usb. When I started using it the package was sealed but once I opened it down this weekend to complete a clean install for my new build there was clearly no usb inside. What a time wasted. Thanks for nothing.

Fast, stable, faster start-up and shutdown, great at multitasking, Aero peak and snap are nice features, and by the way, IT IS THE BEST OPERATING SYSTEM EVER!!!!
Not as suitable for as many programs as xp. Somewhat expensive and life of the battery on laptops hasnt improved much.
You will be insane to keep with xp and vista. It is no doubt one of the most beneficial operating systems ever. Congratulations to your account Microsoft!!!

While Windows 7 offers unique functionality over past Windows versions, it isn't worth 119 to upgrade. Some programs loose compatibility while some maintain better speed. It is becoming more plus more like the Mac.
The OS runs remarkably well on newer laptops Mine having 3GB RAM, programs run rather well upon it. Rather user-friendly. Good for that basic home uses and mostly for College work.
Some older programs try taking a little tweaking for getting it to be effective. Somewhat expensive.
This main system was a real comeback for Windows following Vista disaster. This one doesnt consume much processing in comparison to its predecessor. Most older programs will work into it, though most require tweaking. On the upside, people that do need tweaking VIA Compatibility mode isnt as tough to tweak just as one option was combined with test with the best compatibility setting for optimal performance. Newer programs dont require a lot of any if any! Rather a good choice for those like myself who are gonna college for the computer-based degree and are going to be dealing with programs old and new while going with the courses.
