First looks like MS is wanting to create their unique walled garden and assortment of inmates like Apple. Nothing they give is worth the purchase price, and the discomfort I experienced using this type of product.
My big complaint, and then for me a deal breaker, will be the lack of a cozy display theme. They only offer 3: White, Light Gray, Dark Gray. Dont be fooled. Dark Gray isnt whatsoever dark. All the choices overly bright, lack contrast, and are also just difficult to look at for virtually every length of time. Ive tried every blend of theme, brightness, and contrast on three different LED and laptop displays. I just cant work using this. If you own an organization dont buy this. If I worked in your case, Id complain to OSHA. Its torture wanting to use these screens. My eyes cant go. The darker theme really worked well in my opinion. Where made it happen go? This design choice created by MS is baffling and disappointing. Seems like a trivial fix for them, but reading 5 months importance of many complaints about the MS forums, it doesn't appear MS will respond. My response now will almost certainly be for you it back.
