On Jan. 31, 2011, all online services and assisted support for all those versions of Money end. The Microsoft Money Plus Sunset versions present an alternative version of Money with all the following:

But know I m getting Window 7 pro. and is particularly worried that I may loose my data especially MS Money 2001. I can t find my 2001 disc. Could I install in this little old PC MS money 2003. Convert my 2001 data to 2003. Install 2003 0n the PC and transfer data from old PC to new PC. Please help I m desperate.

I ve been using MS Money Sunset edition for some months now. I enjoy it. I was never approximately date for the latest version of MS Money before and so I never enjoyed the main benefit of automatic statement downloads, so in fact, in my opinion it feels like a complimentary upgrade on the latest version. I still log on my banks and download my statements manually after which head back to MS Money to categorize my spending and tracking my goals and budget.

I got annoyed with Quicken s forced upgrades after being with Quicken because the 90s, I finally dropped them. I love the internet features of Quicken, but wasn t happy to upgrade.
I switched to MoneyDance, which operates on all platforms including iPhones and Linux. I still haven t bought it for the trial version is useful for 100 manually entered transactions, while using imported or downloaded ones not counting for the 100. I had some issues with all the import of my Quicken files, but nothing which was more than mild annoyance.

I have recently moved to some new Windows 7 machine and possess tried various strategies to open my Money 2005 UK file in Money Plus Sunset US version. Nothing may seem to allow me to open the file and I receive the error message stating the file was made with different version of Money. Microsoft has launched the 2007 version of these Money product. Money 2007 M2007 Deluxe has become available as being a trial version on Microsofts website a good week prior to the official version was for sale in Retail Stores. I strongly advise everyone considering an order or an upgrade to adopt advantage on this Trial version, before buying the product or service. It is useful for 90 days and contains few limitations.
I have used Money 2006 M2006 Premium that's essentially precisely the same as M2006 Deluxe, execept for many special offers. I installed M2007 and told it, NOT to remove my M2006 installation. Since M2007 upgrades the information file into a new format that is certainly incompatible with earlier versions of cash, I made a replica of my data file being used with M2007, so I could still access my data through both versions. When I started M2007 for your first some time to selected the newly made copy of my data file, M2007 converted this file to its new format without problems and saved a duplicate in M2006 backup extendable.

As many on the other reviewers have mentioned, there aren't a ton of additional features in Money 2007. However, to be a user of Money 2002 and Quicken 2006, you'll find several upgrades over M02, and I am happy with M07. Having used M02 approximately 3-4 years, I decided to upgrade in order that I could take advantage of the internet banking/statements features offered for your newer programs. With everyone and everything making reference to Quicken while these are financial software much how people refer with a Kleenex for tissue, I figured that I would have a shot with Quicken 2006. Having spent a final 8 months or possibly even longer using Q06, it had some great things about it, and many annoying things this isnt very workable, no reallocation between budget items if you go over in a, you cant borrow from another item to balance your allowance. The investment updates arent as complete like with M07, either. These are just some. Deciding that I would see that which was available within the Money front, I discovered the M07 Trial version on Microsofts website. After loading it onto my system and painlessly converting my Quicken file over which was FAR simpler than getting my M02 file reconstructed as Q06, I began to perfect the program. Needlessly to express, having spent 8 months using Q06, I felt like I was home again with M07. It still has some quirks from the program still cant understand how to use the savings goal feature inside the budget, the debt reduction planner isnt as controllable as Id like, the income forcast has more assumptions than I would, however these level off as time passes, etc., however these features work for my management of your capital. Rest assured, when my trial period ends, I WILL be acquiring the full program.

I happen to be a Microsoft Money user for many people, ages. Going back to Money 98? I forget. I reluctantly upgraded to Money 2007 Premium trapped on tape from Money 2004 when I read somewhere that Money 2004 was no longer going to get supported. I also read that Money 2005, Money 2006, and Money 2007 had issues. Hence my reluctance to upgrade.
For years, I have synced Money with my username and password on nearly an every day basis. Im that style of focused on keeping my eye in my money, and Money has historically served me very well in this particular habit. Money 2007 doesn't.
Since inatallation, I have:
1 Battled with my prior bank for pretty much two months to acquire them to find out by Money 2007 won't synchronize because of their systems.
2 Installed and reinstalled Money 2007 on many different workstations to check the synchronization downside to my years-old Money file and new, empty Money files. Always fails.
3 Now I have switched banks thinking the syncing issue was my banks fault. It wasnt. Its Microsoft Moneys fault.
