I am developing a problem together with the Gold Edition. I have installed and used Flight Simulator X, Delux, without any problems, but I am looking to install Flight Simulator Acceleration as well as the message I am receiving is FSx should be installed first however it is! and activated.

I own and original FS X Deluxe Edition - Serial Number XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX, this number comes attached from the case. I bought it almost couple of years ago aprox. I was prompted to go into the serial number that i did.
After the installing the FSX DE i continued installing the Accelaratoon Expansion Pack which is surely an original too.
Again i had been prompted using a serial mumber and used one mention above.
I will not have the serial quantity of the AEP that has to have been inside orginal casing that's missing.

Microsoft Flight Simulator X Acceleration Expansion Let me start by saying that Im an FSX newbie. I have just the basic FSX installed and possess had it for just around monthly now. Theres an existing pilots saying, if God had wanted men to fly, He would have elected them rich, and Im a walking testament on the truth of the saying. I earned my license in 1987, but it really was just not affordable a hobby will continue seeking to fly. Having been having fun with FSX with the past couple of weeks now, Im thrilled to get back from the air! I thought that I been there pretty good before installing the acceleration pack. But that had been before I had an F-18 within beck and call. WOW!!! My installing the acceleration pack went reasonably flawlessly and also the improvement is fantastic. New aircraft, many new missions to fly, just what a deal! Oh, and did I mention that the F-18 Hornet comes together with the pack? It flys wonderful! My only complaint is the fact I havent figured out tips on how to navigate by using it yet. Anyway, I couldnt be a little more thrilled using the acceleration pack along with my new copy only for 24 from a single of the Amazon merchants.

It isnt as bad as some have indicated, but unless you are dying for getting an F/A-18, P-51 or some other helicopter, you should probably do better to pass for this and watch for SP2 and that is free.
Im not about to mention the missions because I wish MS had omitted missions from Flight Simulator X, altogether. They are too game-like if you takes the term simulator seriously.
Acceleration does include some minimal DX10 features, but nothing to acquire excited about. They think of it as DX10 Preview because it can be a very small subset of the DX10 can do.

Expansion pack wont install - says it will require FSX to get installed first. It is. I can be flying an airplane in FSX, and also the Expansion Pack Installer says FSX isnt installed. The support rep did say they are already getting a large amount of calls from those people who are having problems installing the increase
Support Update: Its now December, and after per month of working directly with Microsoft Games Support, the condition appears being caused by running 64 bit Vista Ultimate with an Intel Core 2 Quad processor. The base game, Flight Simulator X, will not install properly, along with the expansion pack cant believe it is. I tried just one cpu system, running XP, and everything installs and runs fine, such as the expansion pack.
When you install FSX, if your install screen says IDSWELCOME and IDSCONTINSTALL youve got an issue. Another manifestation of a bad install is if your Add/Remove Program screen in Control Panel says PRODUCTNAME rather than Flight Simulator X. Microsoft won't appear to possess a fix yet for that installer failure on 64 bit Vista. XP works fine.

Purchased with proven fact that carrier ops could be better than FA-18, Electronic Arts, but learned that aircraft is quite unstable with slight control inputs particularly disconcerting on final. Actual flying should be more stable than this jiggling/rocking forward and backward. Also would use larger virtual cockpit fonts for AS, VSI and ALT. It could be that my Sidewinder stick won't mesh or how the Dell notebook graphics card Radon 9000? doesn't have enough throughput for your program. Also, Sidewinder trim buttons tend not to seem to function. When you do trap it really is nice. Graphics are fantastic. Just wish I could fix the steadiness problem. I have worked together with the control sensitivity but that will not seem to help. May must upgrade my equipment. Anyone with suggestions please. Thanks. If you've FSX GOLD Edition which include the official FSX Acceleration expansion pack, OR there is the FSX Acceleration Expansion pack purchased separately, if you install this expansion, it automatically adds Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2 on your flight simulator installation, so that you DO NOT must add the service packs manually.
If you would not have the Acceleration expansion, and you must update your FSX to Service Pack 2, and that is required by most add-ons right now, then you must download and install both Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2 and put them to use in order.
Note that some add-on packages might require the Acceleration expansion pack far above SP1 or SP2 requirements, as the event also adds some files needed from the add-ons which SP1 or SP2 will not include freely. This often relates to helicopter add-ons for example, but additionally to selected other add-ons too.
