I used this app ages as iView consider MS bought them, the product or service is quite buggy. The product isn't going to seem to have changed much. The biggest negative I an find with all the Microsoft version is because they have eliminated hard copy user guide. My Original iView Pro booklet is dog-eared whilst still being is tremendously helpul when I go into areas I haven't used before, so if you'll be able to find an iViewPro manual, obtain it.
I bought this system then called iView Pro caused by seeing a professional photographer endorse it on his website. It does favor people that think in a very structured manner, but it is usually a tremendous indexing tool and great central repository. The editing isn't terribly powerful but good for the beginner. If you do edit images, be sure there is surely an untouched back-up somewhere. That is the reason why Lightroom is often a much better tool for editing the way it never overwrites the look on disk.
