This is definitely an Free Memory Card Boot FMCB installer. It was previously called the Unofficial FMCB v1.8C installer.
No part of it had been directly re-used from FMCB v1.7 itself, but aspects of it were based or referenced in the code of FMCB v1.7.
The files inside fmcb-install folder are from Jimmikaelkaels PS3MCA project. Of course, I didnt add the questionable files which Sony claimed like a breach with their copyright.
Since FMCB v1.9 came to be, the FMCB installer has become used for installing both versions of FMCB v1.8C and v1.9x.
Performs a multi installing of FMCB. A multi-installation can boot on all consoles of the region, rather than only for the console it had been installed with.
Removes a normal installing of FMCB coming from a memory card.
Uninstalls a multi-installation, turning it back into a typical FMCB installation.
Dumps a Memory Card in an image installers directory.
Restores a Memory Card from a photo located within the installers directory.
Switches from the Playstation 2 console.
Exits the installer and returns time for the OSDSYS menu.
As of 2014/06/29, FMCB v1.8C do not be circulated at this point as the FMCB v1.9 generally seems to have achieved proven stability.

I cant believe how difficult it turned out to find a genuine PS1 storage device. My girlfriend still uses her PS2 and needed a memory to save a few of her older games. The memory fits within the system perfectly, works with virtually no problems and from now on shes happy which enable it to continue to try out some of her ridiculously old and terrible PS1 games.
