The instruction is apparent and there are some videos you have to watch. Ive been having fun with different versions of Mavis Beacon since second grade, and thanks in part for the great instruction and use I received during my early years, I am a great typist. However, this type of version had nothing that is similar to the older versions I remember and I thought it was incredibly clunky and frustrating to utilize. I was hoping this system would help my 10 and 12-year-old sons to boost their keyboarding skills, but allow me to share the problems we ran into:
1. Installation went fine on our older 2007 iMac running Snow Leopard no complaints there.
2. This program is PERSONAL edition, meaning progress for merely one person will likely be saved. So unless you are a single individual, you would like the family edition.
3. One of my sons hates video lessons and prefer to learn by doing, but the offer requires someone to watch every video all the method to the end posture, finger positioning etc before it will permit you to move on on the next part.
