I sold this to some client whenever we found out they made it for MAC. This radiologist is using dragon for windows since version 5 to 6 and we have gotten our difficulty with it inside past. They got it upon this version! We upgraded the radiologists dictation computers to macs and installed this device. The doctor has reported in my opinion numerous time how he loves the truth and speed in this software. It is easily customized. Like every one of the incarnations and repackaging on this software it doesnt work at all. Long solution to go. It is more work correcting each of the mistakes then typing it directly. Every number of years I buy voice recognition software within the hopes it is going to work. It will not do. Good for emails and easy texts, although not for serious work. Even this specialized and expensive version is simply useless. 90% accuracy, that's a joke bordering on fraud. They spend more money on advertising like renaming this all dragon than development I guess.
This is undoubtedly an old manufactured goods is NOT works with Mac OS X 10.8. I manipulate it for decades and I can have rated it 3-4 stars had been. There are not other medical dictation options for Mac OS X.

First thing you obtain when you launch it's that the software will not be tested with 10.8.

I should begin with saying how the reseller for this system was fantastic. It turned out that this supplement would not use our current medical practice software, but even though it may be opened the reseller provide us with a refund.
The current product itself is obsolete. It will not help our current medical software, MacPractice. Apparently, Nuance bought MacSpeech and they haven't issued a different version of this system for a a bit. The only reason we require this software is with it with medical-practice software, but Nuance has not yet updated it, and in addition they do not want to. Instead, they prefer to re-brand MacSpeech being a Dragon Dictate Medical for Mac product.
This is kind of silly because, with all the latest update of MacPractice, even existing users that have been using MacSpeech Medical can't use it. MacPractice says they do not use a release date for that new product, so before this we are without dictation software for starters of our providers. Nuance is lame.
