The other thing that I ve discovered isn t working may be the internal mike, which I don't use anything but for Skype but I have to work with a USB headset now. Ah, I was far too late. I think the mini 10v is no longer made available from Dell. Now all they have could be the mini 10 with all the Atom N450 processor which I guess is incompatible. Argh.

Well, its more of any makeover of Leopard compared to a full upgrade, but Windows 7 is a bit more of a makeover of Windows Vista over a true upgrade also IMHO.
This is really a short review - additional two poor reviews were about Amazons customer care, not regarding the Snow Leopard product, so I just thought Id actually write something positive around the actual product.
Installation took about 40 mins on my own old white MacBook.
Only thing Ive found with Snow Leopard up to now is that it disabled my Parallels 3.0 software - which simply means it is time to upgrade to Parallels 4.0.
Other than that, everything just works. Very happy by it.

Good news to anyone who retains Tiger, Snow Leopard may be directly should you not want to purchase iLife and iWork 09, this can be a cheap fantastic upgrade. Having been using Tiger, since buying it preloaded in this little iMac in January 2007, I thought it had been high time for the upgrade!
Snow Leopard is fantastic.
Its slick, and intuitive, but make sure you might have at least 2GB RAM installed!
I was influenced to rate it 4.5 though, due with it being not considerably quicker than Tiger.
However, it is no doubt to my only having 1GB RAM attached with my Mac. Its been scaling down for a while on Tiger.
Ill be upgrading it to 2.5GB RAM asap, and after that Im certain that Snow Leopard run such as a dream!
If upgrading from Tiger OS with your Mac, you dont even need to get Leopard first.
Save money and upgrade right to Snow Leopard.
