The Dashboard loads and updates quicker, with a shorter time spent expecting Widgets to refresh their content through the Internet. Mail also feels lighter and much more responsive, totally at ease browsing through 1000s of rich text e-mails.

Well, its more of your makeover of Leopard over a full upgrade, even so Windows 7 is a bit more of a makeover of Windows Vista when compared to a true upgrade too IMHO.
This is usually a short review - another two poor reviews were about Amazons customer care, not concerning the Snow Leopard product, so I just thought Id actually write something positive concerning the actual product.
Installation took about 40 mins in this little old white MacBook.
Only thing Ive found with Snow Leopard so far is always that it disabled my Parallels 3.0 software - which basically means its time to upgrade to Parallels 4.0.
Other than that, everything just works. Very happy along with it.

Good news to anyone who really has Tiger, Snow Leopard may be directly if you don't want to purchase iLife and iWork 09, this is often a cheap fantastic upgrade. Having been using Tiger, since buying it preloaded in my iMac in January 2007, I thought it turned out high time for the upgrade!
Snow Leopard is fantastic.
Its slick, and user-friendly, but be sure to have a minimum of 2GB RAM installed!
I was influenced to rate it 4.5 though, due into it being not faster than Tiger.
However, that is no doubt right down to my only having 1GB RAM set up on my Mac. Its been reducing for a while on Tiger.
Ill be upgrading it to 2.5GB RAM asap, and after that Im positive that Snow Leopard run wonderful!
If upgrading from Tiger OS in your Mac, you dont even need to obtain Leopard first.
