The not enough support for those my 32 bit plugins is inexcusable. Furthermore I have been using Logic for 8 years and a great number of things don't work like they did on previous versions that I seem like I am facing a learning curve which is ridiculously steep for the experienced user. And it does seem similar to Garage Band Pro.
I am going back in Logic 9. Apple can be an arrogant company that's little if any loyalty to its customers. It doesnt matter for many years how many products of theirs you've purchased - when you are not protected by a current warranty they wont speak with you without a fee. I would never obtain a program that only is run on one platform again. Apple features a monopoly with Logic and so they abuse it.
As far as I am concerned there was no Pros because this update won't work.

Im seeking to install the 9.1.7 version, I have a pkg file and once I try to put in it comes on top of an alert message saying An eligible Logic Pro version wasn't found inside Applications folder. This update requires Logic Pro version 9.0 or more. What should I rename it to or perhaps there one other way I can solve this issue? Thanks

Mixing having an automated faders board is not difficult. I use a Tascam 24 channel mixer. Im switching from DP4. I appreciate the host of features. But the transition is not intuitive in any way. I wish the program was more Logic-al in their interface. There are a few bugs audio dropouts during bounce/export, metronome clicks when powered down, waveburner wont import files or say have you thought to, etc. etc. Hopefully, it'll continue to develop under Apple.
