Im tasked with installing rsync while on an AIX 6.1 rs6000 box. I cant apparently find a C compiler within the box. I did: find- name cc also it came up empty. 9i is certainly not supported on AIX 6.1 which exists only in 64 bits, Im convinced.
10g for AIX5L 64 bits is OK on AIX 6.1 64bits
