Kittie coming straight out just clawed the songs scene with, yeah I was shocked too, talent. Rock music hasnt been doing anything more lately but thankfully Kittie have arrived to, uh, rock! They may look gothic cant blame them permanently taste, but this isnt gothic music, though Immortal carries a gothic touch going without running shoes. Indeed, this really is more like Pantera than Bauhaus. The lead singer, Morgan, can be from feminine vocals to Philip Anselmo faster than my black cat could retract her claws yeah, I know, these girls have enough cat jokes. Mercedes is surely an amazing drummer and Fallon and Talena riff with all the best of them. A very talented group for a very young age. The best songs are Spit, Charlotte, Brackish and Paperdoll. At times these songs be understood as the last but thats okay, when it isnt broke, dont make it better. I came upon Kitties cd for a Sound Shop store from the mall, where they a listening station setup. They looked cool, so I figured, hey you will want to. After enjoying random tracks, I must say I was very impressed. No one had really been aware of the band yet, so I took got the album to get a great price and also have loved it from the time that.
A little background: Kittie was in a group inside highly populated genre of hardcore. Its not easy to put an artistic dent within with so much already previously being done, but heres the direction they did it. First off, the band is exactly what some call a sublime band. Theres been hardly any solid all-girl hard groups within the past, and I feel Kittie has really elevated the bar for females in this regard. I can recall few other all female group rocking out approximately they do. Next, its amazing these particular girls can produce a real competitive album and have absolutely a contract over the rising Artemis records, nevertheless be in school! I doubt theres another highschool band whatsoever that has achieved their volume of success. My appraise would go to these precedents set by Kittie.

KITTIE!!!!!!!!!! Its the most beautiful album
Arrived prior to when expected; case had minimal wear tear. Disc around the other hand had NO apparent warning signs of any damage, plays perfectly!

This would have been a blast from my past. Always loved Kittie but never owned the whole album. So happy I finally bought.
I wish the group was still such as this because the tunes on this CD was the most beneficial that Kittie has been doing! It is really an awesome CD!

the very first time i heard here' was laughing cuz that it was so bad, we never thought id listen with it of the sole good songs on song on is when it goes downhill, and not gets the guts to return 2/10

Spit - 5 think this song can be so perfect seeing that you can have the energy in the album straight away, also it gets you pumped for much more. I love it as well as its constantly on repeat.
Charlotte - 5 may be the song that got me into Kittie. I love the unexpected way Morgan screams in this particular one. Its an attractive song.
Suck - 5 song is quite intense. I love the actual way it ends, because just after you think its likely to fade out, Morgan screams at the pinnacle her lungs. Yay, Morgan:P
Do You - 3 this song starts, Morgans voice sounds just a little raspy, like shes tired, thats really the sole part I dislike. Its not certainly one of my favorites however.
Brackish - 4 incorporates a lot of your energy, as well as the lyrics are fantastic.
Jonny - 5 song is another considered one of my favorites. It incorporates a very good message. Jonny gets what he deserves. :o
Trippin - 5 a thing of beauty that I constantly play again and again. Its ablaze with raw fury and non-stop energy.
Raven - 4 good song, but I choose to live version in this track because doing so has additional energy, and I got more in to the live version.
Get Off - 5 LOOOVE the best way this song begins, its drenched in complete and utter beauty, and Morgans vocal talent really shines in this particular one.
Choke - 3 a poor song Just not a favourite.
Paperdoll - 5 beautiful track using a very honest message about how exactly some men percieve women his or her little dolls they could dress up and destroy if they get tired with them.
Immortal - 5 an excellent and beautiful ending to at least one of the most beneficial CDs I own.

Ive discovered that Kittie is about teaching girls to get strong, independent females who wont let guys reap the benefits of them without any reason. To the person with average skills a message similar to this may not be present upon first listen. I first saw this album in HMV and thought the duvet was really cool. Though I will buy albums of bands Ive never heard previously, back it wasnt exactly the same. And Im glad I didnt then.
I went home and downloaded the title track Spit. I was absolutely surprised about how heavy it had been, and wasnt so sure I liked it. completely different whether or not this was now, as I am now into tons of heavy bands Though I continued listening for it, and begun to absolutely LOVE it. After having a friend send me Charlotte and Brackish, I decided I would pick the album. But hey ho, low and behold, it wasnt there anymore! I asked the individuals behind the counter, however they said they couldnt order it in anymore.
Then, simply a month ago, I found it in another branch and immediately bought before I lost it again. IT IS AMAZING! Brackish is among the heaviest songs Ive heard by a female band, and helps to create a crazy mosh-pit which I have seen happen with it in our local rock club The Cathouse. Paperdoll has really clever lyrics and also a very interesting guitar part. Immortal is often a lovely instrumental. And Choke is only basically a friggin AMAZING song.
If you are looking at buying any one Kitties albums, buy that one! If you happen to find out it, and it also is the sole one left, buy it immediately and place it on. Its honestly worth every penny.
The new album Until The End is fairly good, but NOTHING compared to that one. This is Kittie at their utmost. I have yet to see the second album, and can soon! In the meantime, never be afraid to offer this a go. Worth it!
