After 2 yrs of use, my 8- and 5-year-olds will still be discovering new things within this program. It has held their interest more consistently than any in the other highly-rated programs we own. While I agree that text tooltips can be nice, it needs to be a configurable option by user considering they are distracting to non-readers moving the mouse around. I have not noticed either of the kids having problems grokking the interface though multiple level of Undo could be nice - kids change their brains!. The README file with menu instructions is appropriate there from the KidPix program group once you navigate going without running shoes from All Programs, and inside menu Help item is really a complete PDF User Guide. Re Windows XP: Ive been with them under XP for 1 . 5 years, without having problems. Two things to attempt, especially when startup can be quite slow: 1. As the Producer of Kid Pix Deluxe 3, Im conntacting recommend it to everyone. Im biased, but I think youll realize its just as cool as I do. Unfortunately, the editorial review above is just not very useful - - its with the old version of Kid Pix.
Kid Pix Deluxe 3 is usually a brand new service built for the same great philosophy: to offer kids with all the most open-ended, creative art and multimedia experience possible. Kid Pix creations can incorporate backgrounds, animations, stickers, stamps, text, music, imported photos or movies, self-recorded sounds, plus more. The interface is fun, easy-to-use, and lively with sound and motion the buttons wiggle as well as the brushes squish once you use them.
Once you've a finished picture theres a whole new number of options - come up with a slide show with great visual and sounds; export it like a movie or flash animation to the family web site, or share it with your friends and relatives over the Kid Pix Email Center.
Kid Pix really is made for kids of any age. Even teenagers a generally sullen bunch have provided us with rave reviews.
I hope youll try Kid Pix Deluxe 3. I havent found a youngster yet who didnt think it absolutely was the coolest.

IM MIDDLE AGED WITH NO COMPUTOR EXPERIENCE WHAT SO EVER. I WAS ADVISED TO PICK UP KID PIX DELUXE 3. THIS IS THE FIRST PROGRAM I EVER BOUGHT AND HAVE NOTHING TO COMPARE IT TO BUT, I THINK ITS ENTERTAINING, AND RELAXING. WHEN I TURNED MY TWO OLDER SISTERS ON TO IT, THEY FOUND IT FASINATING TOO. YOU DONT HAVE TO BE YOUNG TO ENJOY KID PIX DELUXE 3. YOU JUST HAVE TO LIKE TO DOODLE, COLOR, AND DRAW. CREATE FANCY NOTES TO SEND THAT ARE MORE CUSTOMISED THEN ANYTHING ELSE I USE TO MAKE STATIONARY. SURE, I COULD COME UP WITH SOME DIFFERENT SUGGESTIONS FOR THE STAMPS, SUCH AS BODY PARTS AND A BODY IN DIFFERENT POSITIONS EX. SITTING, WALKING, SIDE VEIW, FRONT VEIW, ETC.FOR THOSE OF US WITH AN IMAGINATION BIGGER AND BETTER THEN OUR DRAWING ABILITY.
AFTER READING THE REVEIWS I AM CURIOUS TO SEE HOW THE OTHER KID PIX DIFFERS FROM KID PIX DELUXE 3. DONT LET PEOPLE THINK ITS JUST FOR KIDS, AND IF IT IS, WHERE IS THE ADULT VERSION OF THIS COOL PROGRAM??

Sadly, my son was waiting through the mailbox just for this item and, in the event it arrived, was unable to experience it. The box pictured said Universal Edition see bottom, front but Read more
Doesnt work for that latest ios. Just stop selling it or allow it to be extra clear that you'll need a collectible computer running it on.

We actually needed 3X - and then we are unable to make use of this product on our student computers, it isn't compatible.

Great idea, in the event it works, but it really crashes in this little computer the many time, must re start. There are no directions.

Running winXP and software will not likely work on it. Has an error with QTime, regardless of the version. Says that Qtime becomes necessary during installation but errors everytime. Read more

Dont waste your dollars. This version doesnt help Windows XP, I tried more than once to install it without any success.
