We recently purchased quite sure for my son. He was in 1st grade and LOVES to learn educational games on his computer. Unfortunately this may be a disappointed for both of people. The background music is far too loud and disturbs the voice that provides the directions for each and every game. It is very hard to understand what these are trying to see my son to perform. Also there may be at least one game maybe more where however do what they have to were telling him, nonetheless they still said hello was wrong. How frustrating!
So far he still enjoys playing the game, and hasnt abandoned it yet. There are some good areas and I think he'll almost certainly get some benefit, but there is however definitely some improvement needed!!
Jumpstart Kindergarten had not been like this in any respect! I really cant recommend whole process almost, especially when it reaches this price!

Hello, Im StoryMaker, a JumpStart fan. JumpStart Advanced 1st Grade was one of the first JumpStart games Ive owned; only JumpStart Kindergarten Deluxe, not Advanced, version predates it. I think I or another individual got it for Christmas a LONG time ago. Since this particular version of JumpStart Advanced 1st Grade is sold with 3 CD-ROMs, I will review each individually. There is additionally a 4-CD-ROM version, BTW. My review are going to be pretty long, cause its really a lot more 3 reviews stuck as well as little extra bits at the beginning end. My kids loved Jumpstart World Kindergarten - it had been relatively easy to navigate, the educational game instructions were generally clear to see, its trivially straightforward to tell which learning activities they still have to complete, plus they could do fun activities, buy accessories with regards to pets, etc. When they exhausted the Kindergarten levelswe donwloaded this 1st grade program in the JumpStart website. It is awful - hard to navigate, poor instructions, games claiming theyre wrong when theyre right. Its not easy to to tell which games they still must finish. We quit on this when I found Jumpstart World 2nd Grade note the world within the title. It uses a similar world as Kindergarten, but more challenging learning games and different missions. So Id recommend the Jumpstart World series, but say stay away from your Jumpstart Advanced series.

There are 4 disks. The Music disk wont work. I have installed it twice.
The Art Club is junk. Not clear the way it operates. Just click and paste onto backgrounds without goal.
The Pet Playground doesnt work right either. Shows multiple game choices but one game works but at best it doesnt award jewels consistantly. Often doesnt award them in any way. Also pets arent too clear. Cat barks???
Fundamentals is educational thing inside the box we bought. But clunky and sets bad example. Kids seem motivated to nearly cheat to win race.
Overall bad choice. Bad software design. Not worth 19.99. If we ended up able to test it first, wouldn't load on his laptop, even if it turned out free. I think they can have sold my email address contact info too. After registering the program, am getting 100s of spam mail

Heya, Im StoryMaker. Ive been a JumpStart fan since my Kindergarten days. I was just a little over 4th Grade when I played JumpStart 4th Grade, but it had been still educational and fun.
