glad you found the tutorial useful. In terms of difference of result, I do not have much experience with Photoshop HDR functionality. What I know is that each software includes a different appearance and feel to the effect and HDR Efex Pro 2 usually give a much realistic result. I still use Photomatix every now and then as well.

Great tutorial. I ve been using the HDR 2 software for just a while but I m still frustrated through the haloing that develops, especially around mountains or trees when there can be a strong blue sky. I ve deterred ghosting but that doesn t manage to work. Any suggestions through your experience?
HDR Software limitation is, when you've got a very bright background ie. blue sky and also a very dark foreground ie. mountain or trees, the end result are going to be very susceptible to halo. Try to dial back the Compression slider hence the tone mapping is just not very strong. Try to fix along with and detail later in Photoshop. Ghosting will not help using the removal of halo.
